By the end of the 1940s the family business Swegmark started to manufacture corsets. Already from the very beginning it was decided that comfort and quality was going to become the most important key word embedded in the product in order to satisfy or exceed consumer expectations.
In the 1960s we were able to acquire new materials with elastic fibers, such as Lycra and Fibre K, all thanks to the great textile revolution that took place in those days.
These material developments led to the launch of our first soft bras with elastic shoulder straps. We were pioneers in the industry with these products.
Since then our product development has successfully continued and our assortment has widened considerably. However, two important factors remain from the early days and will never change: Function and form. They will always go hand in hand. That may explain why our speciality is underwear for women drawing larger sizes, who prefer a good soft bra and why we are a strong choice for those who participates in sports (whether you are intermediate or belonging to the elite) and therefore need a sports bra. Also good maternity bras and prosthetic bras need a good function. It is in areas like these where our experience, knowledge and competence are put to its absolute hardest test.
